The Bucket Test:
- Bring pool water to normal level.
- Fill the bucket to top with pool water.
- Place bucket on first or second step of pool so water level in bucket is same as water level in pool.
- After 24 hours, compare the two levels. If pool water goes down more than the water level in the bucket, there’s probably a leak.
- Repeat the test if it rains before results can be measured.
